SUSPENDED ZIMRA Com General Pasi is accused of fraudulently acquiring over US$1 million from Zimra

SUSPENDED ZIMBABWE REVENUE AUTHORITY (ZiMRA) Commissioner General Gershem Pasi is accused of fraudulent acquiring over US$1 million from the authority while he was not entitled to that money as it did not form part of his contract. He managed to do all this without seeking Zimra board authority and also prejudiced the state of much more by authorising the secondment of Zimra Human Resources Director Christine Msemburi to the World Customs Organisation at the Regional Office in Kenya.

He is responsible for allowing her to receive relocation allowances and other benefits without seeking board authority for this. Christine Msemburi received Performance award, holiday allowances, leave encashment and air tickets without Gersherm Pasi seeking board authority for signing off all these benefits to her….More news to follow….by Sibusiso Ngwenya.
